Aaron Thomas and his wife, Jess, moved to Charleston in 2024 and quickly fell in love with the Lowcountry lifestyle and everything that makes it special: the coastline, the outdoor culture, and the strong sense of community. As the owner of Torpedo Mosquito in Charleston, Aaron is committed to helping local families enjoy their yards again without mosquitoes and biting pests taking over.

Aaron brings a rare combination of real-world leadership and deep mosquito control expertise. He started his career in management with Publix Supermarkets, where he learned the importance of consistency, customer service, and doing things the right way. He later moved into the mosquito control industry and spent years managing operations with the highest-rated mosquito control company in the Atlanta area. After nearly a decade in the field, he decided to take everything he’d learned and build a company of his own, one that delivers both outstanding results and an experience customers can trust.

With over nine years of mosquito control experience, Aaron has seen just about every yard, every mosquito issue, and every “nothing else has worked” situation. In addition to traditional mosquito treatments, Aaron is also an expert in designing and installing automated mosquito misting systems, offering homeowners a convenient, long-term solution for consistent protection. He’ll walk you through your options clearly and recommend what actually makes sense for your yard and budget, so you can feel confident you’re getting the right solution, not a one-size-fits-all pitch.

When he’s not working, Aaron loves spending time with Jess at the beach and exploring Charleston’s outdoor beauty. He’s passionate about being outside and enjoys hunting, fishing, and anything that involves sunshine and fresh air. Most days, you’ll also find him outside with their dogs, Benny and Beaumont, making the most of everything Charleston has to offer. That’s exactly why he does what he does. In Aaron’s words, his goal is to “be the hero that makes yards enjoyable again” for families across Charleston.
