Torpedo Mosquito & Gnat is proud to offer premier mosquito control solutions to ensure your outdoor spaces remain enjoyable throughout the year. Our dedicated team provides effective and environmentally friendly methods to help you reclaim your yard.
We are a locally owned and operated mosquito control service known for effective, reliable mosquito control in Atlanta and beyond. Our mission is simple: to transform your property into a safe, enjoyable outdoor space free from the nuisance of mosquitoes and gnats. With over 25 years of customer-centered experience, owner Nicholas Horton leads a team that excels in customized mosquito treatment and yard care tailored to the specific needs of our local environment.
How We Assist Our Customers
We use advanced mosquito killer for yard solutions, including mosquito spray for grass and mosquito spraying for yards. Our process includes an initial assessment, where we identify areas that contribute to mosquito eggs and larvae growth, like stagnant water or shaded, damp spots. By tackling the source, our mosquito spraying service is able to reduce populations over time, providing both immediate relief and long-term mosquito prevention for yards.
Our team also specializes in mosquito fogging services and insect growth regulators, which are highly effective for managing flying insects in Georgia. As an experienced mosquito removal service, we understand that Georgia’s warm, humid climate encourages mosquito breeding, and we work with homeowners to eliminate conducive conditions, from foliage treatments to yard maintenance. Using a multi-pronged approach, we provide mosquito control for yards and solutions for those experiencing mosquitoes in the home.

Your Treatment Options for Mosquito Spraying in Atlanta
At Torpedo Mosquito & Gnat, mosquito and gnat control in Atlanta isn’t a one-size-fits-all job — there are several treatment types depending on the severity of the infestation, your yard conditions, and whether you prefer chemical or organic solutions.
Buzz-Off Treatment Plan
This is our standard recurring spray service, offered on either a 21-day or 14-day schedule, to manage moderate to severe mosquito populations. Our technicians inspect your property for breeding sites, then treat those areas and other mosquito hotspots. A post-treatment report shows which areas were serviced. If mosquitoes persist, we offer free re-treatment!
Organic Buzz-Off Option
For those who want fewer synthetic chemicals, we also offer an organic version of the Buzz-Off plan. It uses botanicals, essential oils, and BTI (a naturally occurring bacterium) to target mosquito larvae.
Mosquito Misting Systems
If you’re looking for lower maintenance and continuous protection, Torpedo Mosquito & Gnat offers automated mosquito misting systems. These are installed to deliver scheduled, automated sprays so you don’t need frequent manual mosquito treatments in Atlanta.

Mosquito Control FAQs
How often should my yard be treated for mosquitoes?
Most Atlanta properties benefit from treatments every 21 days during peak mosquito season. For heavy infestations or high-risk areas, a 14-day cycle may be recommended.
Are mosquito sprays safe for kids and pets?
Yes. Torpedo Mosquito & Gnat uses EPA-approved products and also offers an organic treatment option made from botanicals and naturally occurring bacteria, so families can choose what works best for them.
What’s the difference between spraying and a misting system?
Spraying is a scheduled service where technicians apply treatments to mosquito-prone areas. A misting system is a permanent installation that automatically disperses product on a timer, giving you hands-free, ongoing protection.
What happens if I don’t treat for mosquitoes?
